What is the Appeal of Designer Chocolate Bar Packaging?

It's not surprising that chocolate is such a popular treat. After all, it has been enjoyed by people since the time of the ancient Aztecs and Mayans.

But if you think about it, there are a few other foods that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with gusto like dark chocolate!

And as we've seen in recent years, chocolate makers have responded to this fact and created chocolates designed specifically for certain meals-breakfast bars for instance, or dessert truffles.

But what's really interesting is how many creative ways now exist to package these treats. Gone are the days of the simple cellophane wrapper!

The Importance of Chocolate Bar Boxes in Today’s Era

Nowadays, some chocolates come in colorful boxes with beautifully designed labels that have been created by artists from all over the world.

There are so many different designs to choose from, so you'll want to be sure to find one that catches your eye-maybe something animal-themed or with a vintage feel?

You can even make some interesting gift baskets out of these chocolates! If you're not completely satisfied with simply giving someone the chocolate, try putting it in a small box tied with ribbon.

Have Fun With Designs

One great way to think about your chocolate packaging design is to have fun with it!

Don't simply go with something that has chocolate all over it. That's kind of boring. Instead, use the space to create a playful design that will catch your eye. This is especially true if you're giving them as gifts!

Chocolate tends to be associated with nostalgia in many ways, so think about what designs might remind people of their childhood for instance. For example, maybe there was a particular comic book character they really enjoyed (like Charlie Brown or Garfield).

Or maybe they've always had an affinity for old-school Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny or Tweety Bird.

You can then build upon this by imagining how these characters might interact since most likely you'll be creating some sort of scene with them on the label.

You could also consider how celebrities might take on these same types of characters!

  • For instance, what if Justin Bieber became a cartoon character?

  • How might he appear based on the type of chocolate you're      giving away?

You can use this playful imagery to help convey your branding.

Don't Be Afraid to Get Wacky

Another great way to think about creating designs for chocolate packaging is to push yourself out of your comfort zone! If you normally like simple and classic styles, then try something that's bold or experimental.

Chocolate boxes are actually really fun because they allow artists to work within an interactive medium-fill them with confections after all!

So it doesn't have to be something morbid (even though morbid humor makes for good artwork sometimes), but it should be something that will make people laugh or think.

For example, maybe you can create a whimsical scene with the use of various objects.

Maybe it's a really colorful space-themed design where all of the chocolates have been arranged to look like planets and other celestial bodies.

Another great way to do this is if your chocolate tastes are rather sophisticated, so take inspiration from some of the works you've seen in museums!

Van Gogh's Starry Night is a good example of such artwork (he painted it after having an episode with mental illness).

You could recreate the same type of style using chocolate as your palette since starry skies tend to be quite beautiful!

This way, you'll convey your message in multiple ways-the designsthemselves will make people think, and they'll enjoy eating it after.

Be Inspired by Artwork

Another great way to come up with chocolate designs is to look at the artwork! If you're around other artistic types much, then this may be a given for you. Just think about the various styles that exist in the world.

You might even have one or two favorites that you tend to draw from when making your own artwork! But if not, don't worry about it too much because there are so many styles out there to choose from.

A good place to start is probably going back in time a little bit since art has been around for centuries.

So artists from centuries ago often had great imaginations and were known to include a lot of interesting or strange topics in their work.

You can take inspiration from these types of objects and use them in your chocolate packaging designs!

For instance, maybe you want to go with a traditional air balloon theme since they were around in the early 19th century.

A great example would be The First Flight, which was created by C. W. Ceramics (notice how it's not really an accurate portrayal but stylized).

Air balloons are still used today for recreation, so this is a great way to convey excitement about whatever chocolate that you're using-it also has a vintage appeal that people will love!

If you wanted something more modern, then perhaps try recreating some retro video game characters like the ones from Space Invaders or Pac-Man.

You can use this type of imagery to convey your message about being playful, so it's a very simple way to get across what you want without too much detail involved.

It should be something that people will understand right away so they feel like the chocolate tastes are just as fun!
